글리신이란?
glycine은 Glutathione의 원료로서 독성물질을 무해물질로 전환시켜서 배설하도록 하는 아미노산이다. 또 헤모글로빈 핵인 porphyrin과 bile acid의 구성분이다.
인체에서 Serine으로 전환된다.
1) 근육합성과 DNA와 RNA의 합성에 이용
근육속에 존재하며 근육의 퇴행을 방지하고 DNA와 RNA의 합성에 이용된다. 그 외 인체의 비필수 아미노산의 합성에 이용된다.
2) Glycogen의 저장을 촉진하여 당뇨증상 개선
Glycogen의 저장을 촉진하며 핵산과 담즙산 생성에 관여한다.
